The Joint Meeting held every two years was a ZOOM success!
About fifteen members of Chi and Alpha Zeta met. We enjoyed socializing and sharing news of the last year---especially the pandemic, the vaccine (Hooray!), and the Virginia State convention.
Our Thought for the Day was a challenge to keep moving forward and to believe firmly that you can master whatever you set your mind on doing. Jackie C (Chi) told the group that worry is wasteful and that perseverance develops strength and endurance. It was a much-needed message for this time. (Jackie is in the photo below, in the upper left corner.)
The Program: a compilation of images and narratives describing how several members of the two chapters managed the craziness of the past year.
Final information...
- Kathy M, chair of the SW Coordinating Council, discussed a joint meeting in December, where we could meet in person.
- Cynthia B talked about the upcoming State Convention.
- Cindy K told us about 2021 International Conventions in Portland and San Antonio.
