Alpha Zeta started our '23-'24 year with a fall favorite
Sugar Hollow Park in Bristol!
What a great turnout for the year's first meeting!
President Cynthia B (not pictured) called the meeting to order.
Heidi M (4th from left) shared the "Thought for the Day."

As usual, we put together gift bags for new women educators in our areas--Washington County, Scott County, and the City of Bristol. Linda S and Mary B helped organize the bags.
For our program, our guests, Jayden C and Elizabeth M, talked to us about the real needs of new teachers. They are second- and third-year teachers and remember what it was like to be embarking on this wonderful profession.
Alpha Zeta is supporting Emory & Henry College's new Maker Space for new educators. Here are Charity H and President Cynthia B holding some of the donations.
After the business meeting, there was a delicious lunch--as usual! This time, Alpha Zeta provided the meat and drinks, and the members contributed sides and desserts. Ah....decadent!
Here are some random images from the meeting.
Don't forget!!!
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 5 from 5:30-7:30
We will have our October celebration of women educators
at Aubrey's restaurant at the Pinnacle!
Please invite a prospective member. This is always such a FUN time!
Many thanks to Jo S for the beautiful photos she took at the September meeting.
